Business Administration

Course Overview
This qualification is suitable for individuals who perform some of the vital and sometimes undervalued administration functions within an organisation.

NWT offers Apprenticeships in Business Administration as well as NVQs at levels 2,3 and 4. NVQs assess an individual’s ability to carry out their job competently and professionally. Employers benefit from knowing that employees have the skills and aptitude they need to carry out the roles effectively, while employees receive recognition for their talents and a genuinely progressive structure to their training. Apprenticeships offer a similar structure, offering those aged 16-18 a chance to gain an NVQ plus a CLAiT qualification while earning.

NVQs are individually tailored, depending on the role the candidate is actually performing. We speak to both the employer and the employee before drawing up the course content to ensure that the assessment has the maximum relevance to their position. We also choose the methods of assessment which best suit the indivdual’s learning style.

Business and Administration NVQs are highly flexible can cover a very broad range of skills as required, from managing diaries and using software to running projects and making presentations.

Teaching Methods
This is an entirely work-based assessment. Our assessors visit candidates in their place of work to review their achievements and abilities. Duration
Normally around 6 months.

The assessor will assess their candidates in their work place.
