Where can I take my course?
Most NVQ courses are assessed in your place of work, but if you are undertaking a taught course, this will take place at one of our five training centres across Wiltshire. Learners taking advantage of self-taught courses, such as Learndirect programmes, can use the facilities available in our centres, including computers, internet, leaflets, video and the experience and input of our advisors.
I was never very confident at school – can you help me learn now?
Yes! Everyone has their own learning style, and NWT can adapt the way that you are taught, learn or assessed to suit whatever works best for you. Our E2E programme helps people aged 16-18 to get the confidence and motivation they need to get into meaningful work or training.
I am an employer; how can NWT help me?
NWT does not just work with individuals who need help getting back into the workplace. We also work with employers to assess and build the skills of their people in order to prepare their organisations for future challenges. We offer a free employee skills assessment with one of our experienced advisers, who afterwards will put together a bespoke plan including, where necessary tailored training programmes for groups or individuals. We offer NVQs and Apprenticeships designed to encourage personal growth and boost morale; many of these programmes attract government funding.
