Course Overview
Health and safety forms a component of all our NVQ courses, in whatever subject. Employers can therefore be reassured that anyone completing an NVQ course will be competent to carry out their health and safety responsibilities within their organisation.

North Wessex Training also offer a 1 day introductory course, taught at one of our five centres throughout Wiltshire. This covers the basic facts that every employee should know about Health and Safety and includes the following content:

• Controlling substances hazardous to health
• Reporting injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences
• Manual handling
• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
• Personal protective equipment
